Approaching a scribe said to him “Teacher I will follow you wherever you may go.”And Jesus says to him. “The foxes have holes and the birds of the heaven have nests. But the Son of man does not have anywhere to lay his head.” 8:19-20 7. Another of the disciples said to him: "Lord allow me first to go away and bury my father." But Jesus says to him. "Follow me and leave the dead to bury the dead.” (Note: no present participle “hook” because disciple wants to delay involvement?) 8:21-22
